Powhatan County Courthouse

Our firm restored the Powhatan County Courthouse, a Virginia Historic Landmark, and added 20,000 square feet of new governmental and judicial space.  With respect for the park-like setting and small-scale nineteenth century buildings, the addition’s Palladian-inspired design created a series of smaller building masses that complement the original Courthouse Square complex and make the new structures feel as if they have always been there.
