    Mountaintop Residence

This 1992 Dalgliesh Gilpin Paxton home is nestled on a mountainside with breathtaking views. In 2020, the new owners brought DGP on board to modernize and reimagine their primary living spaces. A family room addition and new fireplace provide an inviting gathering space adjacent to a freshly updated kitchen. Across the view side, new steel windows and doors with expansive glass openings frame the stunning vistas. In concert with the steel, an updated palette of stone flooring, modern mantels, textured wallcoverings, and new furnishings enliven the existing living room, dining room, and entry. In the landscape, new stone site walls visually ground the house on the hillside, while a pergola connector and additional garage frame a new parking courtyard. An existing log cabin on the property was also transformed with updated windows, exterior paint, new interior cabinetry, and furnishings.
