Ashley LeFew Falwell AIA NCARB
Director of Marketing
Building on her twelve years of architectural experience, in 2024 Ashley stepped into the Director of Marketing position at DGP. She brings an in-depth understanding of project development, a collaborative spirit, and strong design and communication skills to her new role. She’s especially passionate about the power of hand drawing and rendering, working with clients to develop unique design solutions, and the magic of collaboration that leads to the creation of beautiful places.
Through her undergraduate degree in Studio Art and Architectural History at UVA and the Master of Architecture program at Virginia Tech, she honed her writing and visualization skills and expanded her appreciation for and understanding of the craft of building. Since joining DGP in 2013, she has contributed to a diverse slate of project types, including new residential construction, renovation and addition to historic residences, feasibility studies, school renovations and master plans, new tasting rooms, and event venues. Her work on the estate residence, Ivy Creek, and the Tasting Room at Merrie Mill Farm and Vineyard has been published in Southern Home, Southern Living, and Virginia Living magazines. In addition to shepherding projects through design and construction, she worked with the marketing team on social media promotion, photography, proposals, writing, publication, and awards submission efforts for several projects. She is integral to recruiting efforts and is a mentor to young architects, understanding DGP’s excellence hinges on the talents and strengths of its people.
Ashley also extends Dalgliesh Gilpin Paxton Architects’ involvement in the community through her volunteer pursuits. In 2022, she joined the board of the Virginia Discovery Museum after completing pro bono design for two gallery renovations. She now serves as chair of the board’s Marketing and Development Committee. Through AIA Virginia, she is a member of both the Emerging Leaders Local Organizing Committee and the Member Services Advisory Council.
