Danielle Corbin Associate AIA
Architectural Associate
Trained in classicism and in the arts of traditional drawing, water coloring, and hand-drafting, Danielle is passionate about designing by hand. She brings concepts to life by creating compelling perspective vignettes and enjoys engaging with clients throughout the design process.
Danielle joined Dalgliesh Gilpin Paxton Architects in 2023 with a Bachelor of Architecture degree, after graduating as Valedictorian of her Notre Dame class. In 2022, she was the sole undergraduate student selected for the David M. Schwarz Internship and Traveling Fellowship, and the research from her subsequent travel to the south of Spain informed her undergraduate thesis project.
At DGP, Danielle’s work has ranged from detailing extensive renovations of a Charlottesville estate to developing a conceptual design for a new 8,000 sq ft house in Richmond. She led a feasibility study for Madison House, a nonprofit organization that connects UVA student volunteers to partner organizations in the Charlottesville community. In 2024, she was selected to participate in the Emerging Leaders in Architecture Program, culminating in her presentation of the group’s master plan at the AIA Virginia Conference in Richmond. Beyond architecture, Danielle enjoys running, playing tennis, and oil painting. In all endeavors, she brings wholehearted enthusiasm, joy, and gratitude for life.
