Meeting Street Restoration

The city of Charleston, South Carolina, ensured a prosperous future for its historic district by “revitalizing through preservation.” The restoration of an entire block of Meeting Street successfully blended the adaptive reuse of existing historic elements with new construction.  Working with a diverse group of local, state, federal and private entities, our firm restored the interiors and exteriors of eleven historic warehouses on Meeting Street and envisioned a sympathetic new design for the Charleston Place parking garage.
