Dating to 1948, this stately, white brick residence, like many of its era, possessed an inadequate master suite, outdated service kitchen, and limited connection to the landscape. Despite the home’s disrepair, the new owners were captivated by its classical proportions and detailing. Recognizing the possibilities, they commissioned Dalgliesh Gilpin Paxton Architects to infuse the house with a modern flow and aesthetic to complement their lifestyle and showcase existing collections of furniture and artwork.
